Without stripes and with color coding of the plastic it is more subtle which I personally prefer. Someone I used to work with, his father had an old VW van, rusty but with a 2 litre petrol engine. Smart alec pulls up alongside him at lights, looks in derision then is left behind on light change!

i happen to think it still looks the dogs.mainly because i bought it. the plate now says M7NT. I think you may be correct though i believe the bonnet has been painted hence the removal of the stripes but it is the light on the picture cos it is a perfect match.

m7nt is not a reg plate, there must be more letters and maybe numbers, so what is it :?:

I had the garage take off the stripes when they were doing the P.D.I. on the van before I picked it up the others I,ve seen look great with the stripes. Think If I had been 25 years younger when I bought it, I,d have kept them on for sure.
