i thought theres pretty much no way to nick the mk6 and 7 transit coz of the coded key and other stuff going on with the immobilisor,if theres other ways would you pm me and tell me how theyre nicking them as im quite intriqued :shock: ,not that im gonna go out and steel one but im a mechanic and didnt know there was ways around the coded ecu etc, wasnt it the rear wiring between the door and lights that these thieving scrots used to get at although that was taken care of yrs ago wasnt it with a plate or loom protector:?:

Just cos you can get in a van don't mean you can steal it, they probably nicked his keys first or found van with keys in it.

Looks like a standard mk6&7 rust issue :lol: sad all the same though
The only mk7 still with ORIGINAL egr valve!!!!!!

Yeah, will that void his corrosion warranty. :lol:, perhaps its the local dealer who's took a customers van out on a test run, after all sir its only a van!! We've parked it round the back, you can't miss it :lol: :lol:

Thought you said there was nothing to salvage ,the exhaust looks ok, o' and I like the art deco on the sides ,cut the panels out and sell them on ebay as alternative art :wink:

Check out the galvanising on the sliding side and wonder why the rear panels aren't galved too :?

Yes i liked the exhaust for sure . thats the main part i though could be used but too much to cut and I dont think I am alowed to take it . pity

Only the SLD and rear D pillars are galved :wink: :shock:

And the thing with the rear light looms has been dealt with and there was a recall for all the early vehicles that it affected,
