i can see how it works, the back and the middle bit fold down in the same direction (towards the back of the van) after the headrests are removed, and the base rolls forwards bringing the middle with it, to allow the rear bit and the the middle bit to fold out without obstructing each other, its more or less the opposite operation to that of a type 2 style rock-n-roll bed.

It's not the end of the story. The van was bought for 7500 and appeared for 13000PLN and as a 3 years younger. After a few days the price was lowered to 10500PLN.

Now it's for sale again... for 13200PLN and 4 years younger it really is :) I'm really pissed off as I was going to buy it for the 7500 - just to preserve the lovely van.

Now it looks like some salesman bought it and is trying to earn easy money. It seems he will be selling it for a long time - I don't think here in Poland are freaks able to pay 3400EUR (13200PLN) for 20 years old van - only because it's unique ;) If there are - they will go for VW T4 as it's considered much more sexy than Transit.
regards, Maciej

It is a beautiful example and must be as rare as hens teeth, but that does seem a lot

Well, I'm the looser who bought this car (or actually my father did, and didn't look into registration papers.... ) for 12 000 . It is really nice though.... or I think it is .... long story short: the guy(salesman) appeared with his son and mum and dad and all of them were good actors, being sorry to sell it ... stories of holiday, trips, and so.... my 68 years old dad just paid them, and now this man is sending other people to buy it off us. Anyway, we like it and if it works for the next 3-4 years we will be happy. It is well preserved and runs well - perfect weekend car for a family:)
