have you proved this??


they have to be chipped (reprogrammed) at least to get the feckers running, ford have gone up a notch in terms of security, gone are the days of wiring the back of the diesel pump up :wink:

i took small front window out to break into mine when i locked keys inside done in under 5 mins

Like I said before, Just cos you can get in does not mean you can start it and drive it away. The factory immobiliser on MK6 and 7 Transits is very difficult to beat.

The only easy way to steal them is with the keys

My Brother had a Turbo Technics Sierra Estate (only ever 6 factory cars built!) He had cylinder head problems and took it back to the dealer (2nd hand) The guy had it two weeks, never called...... then phone went dead..... Then went for a drive to the dealership...... (80 miles away) dealership was now abandoned. Went to the police.... they knew exactly where the car was..... completely burnt out! and on its roof, it appears he went for a spin (300bhp) and couldnt handle it got involved in a police chase tried to do a runner and rolled it.... but got away on foot :(
