My Friend's Transit [ Malta ]

Postby malta transit » Tue Jun 19, 2007 10:17 pm

Hi, this is my friend's transit. It is so imaculate that it deserves a page on its own. To me,its the best transit van i have ever seen. It is used daily as a means of transport and not abused. Inside it, the sides are ply linined to keep the sides straight and underneath undersealed. Its got a late York engine and a 9 slot grill with big nikel rings round the indicaters. Very originl. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Great van folks, and its White. [ Most vans are white because this colour absorbes less heat from the sun whilst other colours fade ]

By their names i don't think i know them maybe by their company name it would rather ring more a bell. Very popular are UK Garage in Qormi who specialize in Ford transit spares. I bought the 2000 van from them very helpful people. I drop your Telephone No just in case, need to inquire about parts especialy engines.

I v got no idea Mad Mark, i ll ask around. My friend who JUST breaks up and recondition MK1s and Mk2s has many interesting parts. i have seen hanging on his wall, nikel intakes, that small grill above the bonnet, below the windscreen. Probably done by the owners as pinstiping and keeping them up to best was a passon with Maltese.
