holiday transit snapping!

Postby poptart » Sun Oct 09, 2005 4:41 pm

I must be some sort of muppet, I go on holiday and end up taking pictures of transits!
We got back from Malta at silly o clock this morning, the driving out there is great, no one gives a sh1t about indicating etc yet there seems to be no road rage and very little accidents!
But the best bit, there are loads and loads of mk 1's and mk 2's all still being used as everyday workhorses, but due to this I only managed to snap a few tatty examples as most of them were on the road. I saw some great vans but as I say, they were moving and so were we so it was imposible to get any decent piccys but I thought i'd post the few I did! Enjoy :D

It's only funny 'til someone gets hurt.... Then it's hillarious!

i'm quite impressed that the other half was fine with me transit snapping!
ref the one with the nice wheels, notice what the blokes at the back are trying to do, they were there ages trying to put that little plastic cover back on... bless em.
puk, if you try the website i'm not sure what you'll end up with, there a strange bunch over there but very friendly except some kids who started saying something like 'oshna oshna!' to our friend so we asked a waiter what it meant.... apparently something he couldn't repeat about what they would like to do to her! he he they were only about 8!

Morocco-Another Mk2 country

Postby chrisvmax » Wed Oct 26, 2005 4:48 pm

We went to Morocco this year and there were hundreds of transits, mostly Mk2.
Here's a picture of one from our hotel window. What a view hey??
Image
Unfortunately I failed to get a picture of the one we saw with a huge ROOF cage containing about 20 GOATS!!
This was half way up the Atlas Mountains!

Regards,
Chris
