This has been a well known van on the scene, not to mention being on and off ebay a bit. Saw it recently and doesn't look as good now, sadly. Still cute though.

Sh*t, now you mention it, could be. I saw the door and didn't think about it at the time. Maybe I will do some digging and find out. She didn't look great last year, but not so bad as to be cut up into little bits!!! :shock:

We (ie me and Phil) are not impressed with the pratical use of these type of mirrors. That is, you can't see much through them. Luke was considering this type, and I think we put him off! :shock:

i did get a much newer one off ebay nice and cheap a little while back (2004 model i think) ... i might have a go at pulling it apart and fabricating a new mount for it and see how it looks .... it was kind of an experiment that i havent got round to yet .... i like these cause i hate the one mounted on the drivers side wing ... oh and the fact that the strengthening plate rusted out :lol:

that was my old van it was pretty much rust free apart from the roof skin

sold it to a young guy and he had it on ebay for ages, then sold to someone else who unfortunatly broke it up. So sad to see that van go to parts over a roof skin.

you can buy them mirrors brand new 40 dollars a pair tap in west coast mirrors
