Magazine called Mobilisti had a feature on Transits history. Here are pictures from Ford of Finland archives and files of Mobilisti-magazine.
I hope they wont get mad at me scanning and posting them here...

Bank-van visiting some smaller village. Almost all commercial banks had vans to cover customers on remote areas, but I haven't seen one for ages.

And here is one from the same article. A German hearse (edited :oops: ), built in Berlin by Rometsch. Some extra chrome, hub caps and fender skirts...

ive never seen one like that!! i posted an ex-hearse a while back that was on ebay.de but that one looks more elegant :D



by the way the english spelling is hearse!!

What great photos! That luton looks like an early extra, with the overhang. I think that maybe the reason there are no more bank vans is maybe they were a huge security risk!! I loved the hearse too, different!
