New Transits at the 2006 Commercial Vehicle Show

Postby Gman » Wed Apr 26, 2006 5:03 pm

Went to the CV show today at the NEC and took these photos of the new Transit. New interior is a big improvement on the Mk6, still not sure about the front - but I think it is growing on me slowly!

This one seems to be a MWB with a low roof.

Crew van was smart - badged "GLX 130 TDCi" - not sure about the lime green paint though!

This one was badged "LX 85 TDCi"

nice pics mate :D :D still not sure on the front :? the dash dont look to bad tho :D
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Great work Gman :D At the moment i cant say or think of a good word about the front of that white tranny  The blue is ok i suppose, like the idea of the lime green. I cant say i got enthusiastic with the interior either  (nice sterring wheel and gear shift/knob)
Sorry but its a thumbs down for me

If only they colour coded the whole front bumper :!: And got rid of the 'pointed' part of those headlamps, they wouldn't be able to keep up on the production line :!: :!:

it looks as if its been built from one of those little lego sets. i can remember when bmw brought out the new 5 series. everyone hated it. now its the norm. we will get used to it i suppose.

i really don't know about this one ..... it seems to have lost something, but i can't say what exactly, i also can't see many builders using it, all that plastic won't last long at all

Did anyone at the show notice if they had a new Tourneo ?
A m.w.b. model would be really great.

I would have thought so, same running gear as the Mk6 so will be 160pcd and 14mm studs.
