Arctic warrior - custom mk3

Postby Luke » Sun Aug 13, 2006 8:28 pm

This was at the NSVA nationals 2006, absolutly immaculate - thats why it deserves its own thread  hopefully the owner will join us soon so we can move it to members pics  It's great to see vans of this quality being built today. :D

we spoke to the owner who had done all the bodywork himself and his girlfrend had done the artwork 8) it's running a 3.5 rover V8 and capri back axle, the van was only (part) finished the night before the show and there still loads to do on it but judging on whats been done so far the finished van will be amazing - worth making the trip to billing next year just to see it finished

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

No need? Believe me with the axle/box/engine in that thing it will need every ounce of downforce it can get to keep the back end attatched to the black stuff

The standard of of work gone/going into that van is the highest I've ever seen :!: :o To think it had a gauge in the side like 'Transit jono's' 'holemark,' just unbelievable :!: :D :D

It was really good to see it at this stage :!: It becomes alot more interesting seeing it evolve :!: :D :D

Looking forward to seeing it again :!: :D

And what if you need to do some ironing? Nightmare!

Seriously makes me wish I'd made it up there to see it. :(

 i think if i put that spoiler on mine it would look out of place, but this is a proper custom van, a real show machine - as extreme as it gets 8) and its got the engine to back it all up 8) it should be in yer face spoiler an all
btw the guy made the spoiler himself

i'd really struggle to pick fault with this van :D

We asked him about the interior but he said he wasn't sure what was going in - he was gonna leave it for his mum to do :D
Whatever they choose though, I bet it'll be good 8)
