Did you do the repairs or was it done before you got it?

This is as I bought it - had a flashover respray (presumably to remove the Newcastle city council insignia. The wheel arches have also been flashed-over, but are solid. The work with the self tappers is, I presume, the council's handiwork? It'll do for now :)

Probably, but still keep an eye on it. My very first van gleamed when I got it and the number plates let it down (old style plastic individual numbers and letters) less than 6 months and all the rust was showing through. The Self Tappers I would replace them with black headed screws as they serve a purpose as the rear bumper caps can be a little sloppy if they get tapped. Any breakers should have the two hinge rubber bumpers so that will stop the eye going to those automatically.

Nice clean van fella!!!

Dont presume tho that because its ex council its been looked after.
I work for the local council and drive everything from Land Rovers, Astras, Terranos and LDV's and none of them are looked after.

Our service dept are useless and always well over due on the services and becuase there are so many differant drivers there not looked after!!
