Radi Code 8 for my transit van required 06 reg

Hi there i am new to this forum and i was hoping that some1 out there might be able to help i changed the battery van and
and the radio requested a code witch i didn't know looked in the booklet but couldn't find it
.
Model of the radio is 400RDS serial Number is M 231216
i would apreciate any help thank u in advance

hi there mate thanks again for the code but i don't know why is it still not working .............is it cos i have been guessing the code too many times .... on the screen shows it needs code 8 .....
after i put the code in do i press anything else ?


all i did was put the code in followed by pressing and holding number 5

you only get three attempts then the radio locks for a pre set time, if you get it wrong again after a few more goes you get "locked 10", then you need to follow a sequence to unlock it and you get ONE more try, if wrong you get "locked 13" which cant be de coded without connecting radio to a computer, or replacing the radio.

Try, leaving radio on and ignition on for an hour or so, see if it counts down from 8, or may come back up as normal asking for code. Sounds like a timer.
