I don't think I would try this, I would leave it to a body shop. I don't have the guts to chop large bits off our vans! Anyway, Alex already has two, it would make Camilla awkward to light and they aren't much use in a Luton (try telling that to the pillock who ran into the hieght barrier the othe day)

I must admit i normally hate sunroofs - my mk1&2 escort dont have one and i wouldnt have bought either of them if they did, but i quite like the electric tilt and slide i have in my sierra!! - ive even considered cutting the whole lot out and fitting it in my transit!!! :D
BUt is it really worth the effort???

Valsheda - what about fitting aircon instead? - they made a pump to fit your engine all the bits could be bought of a scrap granada/scorpio or sierra!! :D

I think it's part of the Torneo package, at tleast it was on the 3 we have hired at various times, and I doubt the hire company would spend money on extras if they could avoid it!

They've done tests Fred and it uses more petrol having the window open because of the drag than having aircon!

So why else are there big signs at the start of the desert in Navada telling to turn off the aircon? So that you can fry eggs on the dash???!!!

This was on myth busters a few months back, A/C used more fuel, side windows are in a low pressure area and the air tends to skip around them and doesn't create as much drag as you'de think :D
