2.0 pinto low compression

is it in the head or in the pistons that makes the tranny engines LC
its just ive got a 2.0 pinto tranny engine and my mate wants to put it in a capri but convert it back to normal compression!! whats req'd?? head skim or more!!! :D

mate i beleave its the pistons somebody correct me if i am wrong! also you cant put a 1.6 transit head on a ltr hc as we found out ! it blew a piston! the otherway of looking at it if he fitts the lc engine unleaded fuel will not be a problem! pinto,s are funny engines its hard to get power out of them unless you spend big money! but you get a good one and they are great engine! :D

the 2.0 LC pinto is idea for strapping a turbo onto the side of....

Pistons are low comp, as pinto says ripe for a bit of medium boost turbo action :lol:
