Along with the 32 door options, Ford loved to give you loads of options!
if you want to just replace your old one with the same, refer to the VIN plate. If you want something better, I am not sure what the ratio is, but the Minibus was supposed to have the best top end ratio.
Hope this helps.

Just do the whole axle, though it could wine on for years! We actually bought a Luton with a dodgy axle, it went on for about 18 months before it go too loud. What about that SWB that's on ebay?

ok this is one for me! luke you have a single wheel axle, i take it its the type that you draw the halfshafts and undo all the bolts around the diff, the ratio,s are 3.9- 4.1, 4.44, 4.56, 4.63. 5.14,5.83,6.14, the best diff if you are haveing a five speed gearbox and towing would be 4.56
if you are not towing and have a five speed box then 4.1 if you have a beefy engine with power ie 3ltr v6 then a 3.9 would be the best but middle of the road witch will sit a 70mph 4.56 with a 5 speed!
the 3.9 diffs are hard to get now and were mainly in mk2 minibus 4 speed!
i have gone from 5.83 to 4.63 (lowest number you can get in the twin wheel axle) and now doesnt like hills but seems to get upto 55mph on the flat!
when i had a brandnew transit with the dohc engine i factory orded it with a 4.1 and 5 speed with the caravan on the back i was in 3rd on the motorway up the hills it was rubish! it needed to be 4.56! :)

i might have one of those somewhere .... i am in the middle of cannibalising a markII twin rear axle and a mk3 version, and the original diff from the mkII minibus axle will be spare, it was a little noisey at the time of removal, but a full bearing replacement kit is available on ebay

i cant remember the exact ratio, as i was not paying much attention to it when i removed it, and i am going to use the one from the mk3 axle that came with my donor vehicle, if anyone interested pm me and i'll go dig it out :D
