can a bad rear wheel bearing affect the steering?

just had a offside ball joint replaced but steering no different...veers sharply to the left while driving..just wondered if MOT bloke made a mistake and should have put nearside ball joint wants replacing...but now been told the rear nearside bearing is bad...could that affect steering? so guy on internet says it could

Try swapping your front tyres over before spending any dosh mate most steering pulls are tyre related

ive done that..just took it to an ATS garage to check tracking and he says one side is about 3 inches lower than the other...sounds alot...do you think spring is knackered? MOT bloke didnt say though 2 days ago...beginning to do my head in now...changed shock and ball joint,changed tyres over

Have you checked for broken front coil or rear leaf..??

Have a good look at the springs I had a mot a few years ago all oh broke front spring on road hump on way home

checked spring and first coil is sitting on bottom coil with no gap..which is different from other side..anyway getting a mobile mechanic to have a look at it this week,seems to have good feedback...had enough of garages,all they want to do is milk ya..no interest in your vehicle whatsoever

Did you try swapping wheels round ?
