hi lads, got my mk6 hightop halfway into my drive, jumped out to take out my tools and when i got back in it would not start, no clicks nothing, it has always started in the past and this was the first time it did this. called the aa who came out climbed underneath and with the gentlest of taps got it to start. what would your advice be now, is it a case of new starter or could this be a one off or is this a repair job, cheers

Take starter out and strip it down and clean all the internal parts ,bit of light grease and some oil on the moving parts makes a big difference to them
