Transit custom 2013 steering rack problem

Hi All I have a problem I've just changed a leaking high pressure steering rack pipe,the problem is the power steering won't work. Reading bits n bobs I believe there is a none return valve where the pipe enters the rack. I've only found a spring lodged in there. Can these valves be purchased, surely not a new rack for a small part.All help welcome, Chris

Update on steering rack none return valve, had a word with very helpful steering reco specialist (Kiley&Clinton) who told me the collapse inside near the pinion and you can scrape them out and run with out it. Took a while to get out in place but works fine, big saving on new rack and a big thank you to Kiley & Clinton for taking the time to help as others just wanted to sell a rack. Hope this helps someone else
