Almost certainly, definately not...

It may be something that can be done, but TFL would never accept it has been!

By coincidence I was talking to a friend today who lives just inside the M25. He has just put both of his vehicles up for sale, due to non compliance, and it would cost him £12.50 every time he moved one of them off his driveway.
In your position, living just outside, you would need to see whether it's cheaper to replace the van with a Euro 6 (or Euro 4 petrol) or pay the fee every time you need to enter the zone. If it's once a week maybe, that could be a cheaper option :)

I say rebel ..there will be a whole movement soon.
You won't have to get rid of your vans,
if people have the balls, they should reject this nonsense
wait it out see what happens it.

You only pay if you get caught, it's up you if you want risk it, the local breakers near me is inside the A406 so already in the Ulez, every single one of the workers cars has their No plates coverd
I live inside the M25 which is why my ambulance rarely moves, at least never without an "on tow" sign hung over the plates  mind you it only has to be "towed" half a mile till it's outside the ULez, the connect is exempt fortunatly otherwise there's quite a few disabled pensioners who'd be way worse off without it/me :!:

I was quite shocked when my mate was telling me how soon this was being brought in, I would have thought that a little more time would be forthcoming, in order to let people prepare and get used to the idea, and also to allow vehicles to be upgraded in good time, rather than in a panic.

Kubla Khan is playing fast and loose with peoples livelyhoods, and I'm surprised that more fuss hasn't been made :?

Hopefully it will make some of the pre 2015 vehicles in and around London a bit cheaper!

Sorry....

You can retrofit vans to Euro 6 ? HJS and Cybrand offer an upgrade solution.

You can retrofit it to Euro 6, no need to replace it or pay the fee.

i 100 % agree with you but sorry to say that people these days are just to compliant. Everyone should understand that every road and building is paid by you (us) build by you (us) so we own it, but yet the people who claim to rule us while getting there paycheck from us, demand you pay to use your own property, i truely hope to live and see the day that more of us will wake up and see through this fraud, cause once more will its not a mather of overthrowing, but just saying NO.

Only the travellers, Romany's have the answers to this form of "control"
it still may not happen ..it's in the news that khan has fiddled the results of the polls. by polling only those that will agree to it, not telling the people that matter, that there was a poll and ignoring 5000+ votes against it. and also he got TFL to Pay media companies to promote his idea as positive with 100's of thousands of pounds of public money. we will see what becomes of this in the next few days.
im following whats happening in London ..because i know that they qwill eventually do it to the whole of the UK ..once London falls.
We in Wales have a 20mph speed limit instead of the 30mph speed limit ..passed and will be in operation in September ..they are already putting up sneaky hidden cameras in places that look perfectly safe to go at 30mph ..they aint putting them at schools ..they are finding the cash generator areas !
BTW the cameras are 30 feet off the ground!

all the best..mark

I'm not sure how your Welsh cameras are fareing, but many of the London cameras are developing metal fatigue, and the poles are mysteriously hitting the ground, and sadly damaging the attached camera.
Many of the mobile camera vans are finding themselves boxed in by larger vans, or just obscured with protest placards :?

There have been no new cameras put up as traps in my area of north wales, also there seem to be less mobile camera vans about, a few of the signs have been painted over, i note yesterday ...i was being over taken by taxis when i was doing 25mph (been told we can get away with 25mph ..so that's what I'm driving at its down a gear anything less)

There are lots of people getting frustrated and over taking the dead on or below 20 mph people and taking dangerous risks doing it, it's like musical chairs...so, if you ask me, its made it less safe to drive.
