mk6 axle swap

i have just done my axle swap on mk6 transit to mk7 axle. done all the brake bleeding etc. used forscan no problem in the end. still no brake pedal. clamped the the rear flexi pipes as advised and have a good pedal. so my conclusion is that the mk6 master cylinder does not push the right amount of fluid.. so my question is does a mk7 master cylinder fit and will this work. would be nice to have someone message that has done this conversion... any help would be great before i set fire to it lol

Did you check the pads as per your other thread ?
Have you driven it at all ?
The pedal feel on a mk7 with discs all round can be very different to a mk6 with rear drums.
When the pedal is pressed while stood,with engine running there seems to be more travel,
(Lots of people complained on the introduction of mk7 saying pedal would nearly creep to floor if held while stood)
In reality on the road you never press the brakes like that,and brakes work fine.

Also,If the pads are in correctly,make sure handbrake levers are returning fully to the stops on callipers,and the handbrake cable is not pulling tension on them,then stamp the brake pedal as hard as you can while rolling slowly backwards and forwards,then retry it.(as if doing a full on emergency stop)

the rear pads are located correctly. i just think the mk6 master cylinder is the problem.. need to know if i can fit mk7 master cylinder to cure the issue using mk6 servo. any help appreciated
