Cone air filter mk7

Random I know but has anyone ever fitted a cone air filter to a mk7 transit?

How did you know what cone filter to get? I’ve tried to research this and the only thing I can
Find is “manufacturers design them to fit specific engines” but I can’t find one specifically gor
A 2.2 fwd mk7.

Can you give me a bit of an idiots guide please.
As 1 I’m a total novice and 2 I’m definitely an idiot.

Definitely think I should have got this out my system years ago.

It was just a universal one I had on my mk6 who came with adapters of various sizes, I have a couple in the shed somewhere awaiting fitment to my mk7, they don’t really alter the power but if you have a variable geometry turbo you could hear it dump the excess pressure on gear changes.
