Ford Transit Minibus 2006 Dash / Speedo Issue

Hi, hoping someone can advise the way forward with an issue I have.

My Scout Group has a Ford Transit 2006 (56) 15-seat minibus. It has issues with central locking in that the key operation seems temperamental, however, an issue I have just noticed may be behind this issue.

The speedo/dash display seems to be constantly recalibrating. The speed needle drops and resets. This happens when the engine is off and/or key is not in the ignition.

Could it be fuses? The fuses look slightly corroded but are intact. Or is it likely to be a wiring fault?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Firstly, as it was a changeover year, we need to establish whether it's a Mk6 or a Mk7 .

Look at my avatar, does the front look like the silver van on the left, or the white van on the right
