Whiring noise, blue smoke

Hi guys, hope someone has had same problems. 2016 LWB 2.2 175k
Started a few months back, hard to start when hot, rough idle, low power, which pointed towards a egr problem, my mechanic has had it hooked up and everything is running as should, now am using oil and have blue smoke when pulling away and a whiring sound, thought it was a turbo pipe but there fine, it sounds like the turbo (no codes at all) spinning as I accelerate, which can get quite loud, not loud enough to scare sheep but I can hear it no problem in the cab, really struggles on inclines and smokes quite a bit. Some one pulled out on me yesterday and I did hesitate to brake hahaha

Sounds like a boost leak or an intake restriction

Get a smoke test to determine if it's a boost leak.

Visual inspection of intake
