Seeking Advice on Fuel Nozzle Compatibility for Ford Transits

Hello Fellow Ford Transit drivers,

I'm facing a recurring issue with fuel nozzles for our growing fleet of Ford Transits (23 plate, 70 plate hire, and soon, two 22 plate transits). We have an on-site diesel tank, but the Transits are having compatibility issues with the fuel nozzles, unlike our Merc Sprinters and Peugeot Boxers.

Initially, we used a grey plastic adapter for the older nozzles, but it was a temporary fix. We upgraded to a recommended nozzle (20mm size spout) to fit the Ford fuel latch, but it hasn't resolved the issue and is causing fuel spillage and distress to our drivers.

I'm looking for advice on the correct fuel nozzle size and type for Ford Transits to avoid using temporary adapters and ensure proper functioning of the auto lock-off feature. We are looking to swap out the older mercs for more transits as they are simply better however this minor issue we are hoping to get sorted before we get more in.

Any insights or recommendations from your experiences or links to the right model would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
