I have the same problem for my 4 X 4 Transit County 160 (205 x 16 tyres). I need chunky off road tyres, my mot inspector wants to see 8 plies or "reinforced" on the tyre wall. I looked everywhere. The most agressive off road tyres as seen at all the shows seem to be remoulds. Camac made an 8 ply off road tyre and I bought some in the UK a few years ago. All the tyre companies I have spoken to me tell me these tyres are no longer available. I traced Camac UK but they don't answer the 'phone or return calls. I searched on ebay over several months and these tyres came up part worn on several occasions. I have bought 6 tyres so far, all with good treads and at reasonable prices. I have seen 15" Camacs on ebay. I recommend the automatic search that emails you everytime something comes up with your key words. I recently saw a set of 5 x 8 ply off road Broncos on ebay, they went for silly money very quickly, but it shows that Bronco do make some 8 ply tyres ( they told me they do not)!
