Hi got a hi milage ford transit mk 7 2.2cfwd can I use 5 _40 fully synthetic oil in the engine cheers

Well the original is 5w30 ..and you can use synthetic or mineral .

but if it's using oil .. burning , leaking etc and mileage has exceeded 200,000 miles ..then i see no reason why you should not use 5w40 ...unless you live in cold climate norway finland etc
