2013 2.2 duratorq suddenly burning oil

It only has 48,000 on the clock and has never had any problems. All of a sudden today after 20 mins of driving it starting burning oil and over heating at anything over 1500rpm. No warning lights or anything. Any ideas what could cause this so suddenly?

Found the culprit, it was a coolant leak. Don’t know how to delete my post…
