Ford Tourneo fuel issue won't start

Hello everyone help needed please
I have a Ford tourneo custom 201
3 125bhp Had recent service at local garage including oil filter change Used it for around 40 mins now won't start.
It turns over OK and will start up very briefly with Easy start so sounds like a fuel issue.I have bled system via the bicycle
type nosel top of the engine.
On checking underneath the car I noticed a flexi metal pipe coming from the engine was hanging down near the filter area It appears to have come detached from what I think is called the filter delivery pump or Auxiliary pump
I suspect this happened during the service
It also appears damaged I have re attached it
Can anyone please tell me if this could be the reason for the fuel/ non start issue ? The car ran for 40 mins without it
So I am at a loss what to do
It's also brought up a message on the dash in orange saying engine malfunction Please help if can Thank you
