Clutch bleeding

Having put everything back together and got the engine running Im having problems bleeding the clutch. Had the Gunsons eazibleed on but no fluid coming through.
I have a feeling the blockage is at this round thing inline between the master cylinder and slave. Can anyone tell me what that is and what it does. By the way the master cylinder
is new.

This is a LHD Euro-5 vehicle is it not..?? You don't say what you have. The "round thing" is part of the complete tube...possibly an accumulator..?? The Euro-3 & 4 machines don't have it.

Try "reverse" bleeding it, connect the clutch slave cyl bleed nipple to the left front brake caliper bleed nipple using a suitable piece of tubing, crack both nipples and slowly pump the brake....this will force any air up through the master cyl and into the reservoir.... Air doesn't usually like going down.

That's best way to do it...brake nip to clutch nip and pump slow....
I take all the seals and Orings are where the should be and not still in old master cylinder????? They have habit of coming off pipe when removing, same at slave cylinder side

Hi Knobby, Yes is a LHD Euro 5, I live in Germany. I have tried reverse bleeding but nothing going through. Pretty sure the blockage is down to that
"round thing". My previous van was a 2007 Euro 4 which did not have it and I never had any problem reverse bleeding.
