I have old smiley Luton van. 1997 transit 2.5 L.
I'm trying to get the return fuel tube. It is rubber with fabric lining on the outside.
But I'm told they no longer stock it.
I would be interested to know if anybody knows the internal diameter and if it's okay to just use a normal rubber fuel line without the fabric around it?

Any help will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I am still not having any joy ordering this from anyone. I my okay to just order a normal rubber fuel tube?
My concern is as it is so close to and rests against the motor it may melt.
Any info on this would be very useful
