Error Code B153B PTC Heater circuit current above threshold

Hello!

I'm getting Error Code B153B PTC Heater circuit current above threshold in my Carly App, but can't find any information about this error?

What does the PTC Heater do? Found this:

PTC heater system in some cold climate countries to solve this problem. This system consists of an electronically controlled electric heating element which is mounted inside the heater housing to warm up the interior. When the PTC heater system is active there will be a lot less heat of the engine used to warm up the interior. The PTC heater system automatically shuts down if the engine temperature is above 80 degrees Celsius.

Where is it located and should i replace it or might there be another problem?

My A/C is also not working and my battery is bad (will replace asap), could it be related to either one of those?

may not be that at fault .. from my search ...results not strait forward or confirming your diagnosis - this code is generic and usually followed by two digits more.

and think you mean DTC diagnostician-trouble-code not PTC

I'll try and read the codes from Forscan tomorrow, see if i can get more out of it. Carly doesn't give the 2 digits folowcode unfortunately.

The "PTC Heater" is also called the "Electric Auxiliary Heater"

FORscan told me B153B:15-48 which was solved by putting my original drivers side mirror back.
