hi all .been a while on accounts of fanny my 2011 mk7 2.4 rwd being a good girl but now i think shes very ill........she stalled when i was doing about 5mph tried to start her and there was a loud clattering i thought oh sh*t timing chain by the noise ,but had the timing cover off and it was tighter than a married mans butt in a gay bar....so all is good there.she did start making like a tapperty noise going up hill under strain at about 2500 revs about a week before. oh and pinking. she turns over but after a few turns sound like a rod hitting her piston that sort of noise quite loud. can this be a cam problem bearings or the cam sensor....please help lads dont want to put fanny down ill miss her puddles on the path ;;thanks in advance guys ,.,,,

might be worth getting a mechanic to take a listen, sounds pretty serious.
