Postby JRHartley » Wed Dec 18, 2024 6:26 pm

Does anyone know of a pic' showing the pipe layout from the fuel tank to the filter head?
I'm going to add a lift pump is there any easy way to determine the flow & return pipes ? thank you

Is there a reason you're going to fit a lift pump..?? Not really required if the system isn't leaking air in.

The early 120/125 TDDi's had a lift pump on the filter housing....but they deleted it soon after I believe.

That's very helpful thanks, its a 90hp model so no lift pump. Looking at vids on the net it looks difficult to bleed the fillter etc. So I want to fit a pump.

Do those filter condition indicators work well?

Does the pump return the diesel to the fuel tank via the filter housing ? Is that to help it bleed the system?

The yellow filter "clogging" indicators do indeed work ok.

Far to many people think they're a primer button for some strange reason.

The fuel return "from" the the pump returns via the filter head, I believe it's just a "pass through", then goes to the fuel cooler, (if fitted), under the van and then to tank.
