HVAC 2023 3.5 erratic heating and cooling

This heating/cooling system in this thing is so hard to regulate especially the heat. It either gets overly warm so you knock it down a couple of degrees then you get cold so you knock it up a degree or two then it gets too hot. Rinse and repeat. We have been patient with allowing the temperature to adjust but it is a constant battle. Maybe we are doing something wrong but went per the manual and the fact I have driven cars for 50 years tells me this is a mess. Any secrets and does anyone else experince this?
