Ford transit 2.0 sid212Evo Adblue reset not working

Postby Hidalga » Fri Feb 14, 2025 6:54 pm

Hi, I had an issue with the doser and got a dash message displaying a distance limit until engine no-start, the van reached the limit and now engine won't start. Replaced the doser, dtc erase and tried to do adblue reset using launch and forscan but still engine no start with the adblue service req message, any suggestion to make the vehicle start?

ad-blue faults,trigger a 500 miles to no start countdown,to give you warning / chance to fix the fault.
If you’ve driven it till it now won’t start (P241D dtc);

Don’t know about forscan and launch,
With FDRS there is a specific reset for the P241 no start dtc,this will then give you 31 miles then to clear the fault inducement.
If you don’t fix it in that 31miles,it will go no start and you’ll have to reset it yet again for another 31 miles ..

Thank you for he response! I have fixed the adblue issue (level sensor and injector) but I don't have FDRS for the reset, do you think it's possible to jump the starter relay to force engine start and learn the new values?
