Hi there, I am new to this forum and have being searching here for answers to my dilemma. Many good pointers but have not found mine so here goes: I have a 2006 2.4L do not know if it is a MK6 or not! It´s a Motorhome with only 47000kms. The ASM started suddenly acting up after a long drive when I was taking off from a stop it seemed to jump into gear with force and stalled. After shutting down opening the hood to check reservoir to see fluid level at OK, started engine and everything worked fine but only for a while. This is only a problem after a bit of a drive. All is fine for the first 30 mins or so. Took it to a Ford Garage, they ran diagnosis, changed the fluid in the ASM, bled the system but a Code is still reading:
TCM (Transmission Control Module) 1 problem exists, 1.P0805 Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Fault. They say that they can order only the whole unit but the price is crazy and they are not even sure that the fault will go away! Any ideas on what I could do before drastic measures?
