Hello, I recently purchased a high milage 250k 2016 transit custom. It drives okay but occasionally engine stops when clutch down coming to a junction. Engine started straight away but does not start if I bring the clutch up when moving. Only restarts with key.
No faults show on dash or code reader.
I hade the engine removed for cam chain and LO pump and now the same happens but the engine won't start for 10-20 minutes. I have checked the fuses and okay. The fuel pump relays acivate but I notice yesterday at standstill with engine running the relays drop out after a while?
I am at a loss what to do as have spent a lot part converting to camper.

Im not sure if the early custom is the same - but that sounds very similar to an SCV fault on mk7?

Unfortunately the later Euro-5 2.2 doesn't have the SCV like the earlier Euro-4's.
