Help Please - Fault Codes PCM DTC P010F:23-24, PCM DTC P0299

Postby Johnnyt63 » Wed Aug 27, 2025 5:20 pm

Hi hopefully someone can help.
Ford Transit Mk8, 2014, 2.2TDCI, TREND, Front wheel Drive.

I have the following fault codes PCM DTC P010F:23-24, PCM DTC P0299 when i plugged into Forscan.
History
Lack of power took it to the a mechanic who replaced a cracked hose which i saw. I took it for a drive and warning lights came on. I took it back, smoke tested, no leaks, cleared all codes and put some forte turbo diesel cleaner in (as asked to by mechanic) and run it.

The fault codes only currently come up when I am in 4th Gear, 2800-3000rpm at approximately 68-72 mph when it goes into limp mode. Full information from scan can be seen below. Please if anyone could help it would be much appreciated

you need to show actual EGR, plus actual wastegate percent at hard and medium acceleration so i can see whats going on, as they may be the trouble

plus have a look at the boost pipes

The 2.2 custom has a problem with the boost pipe rubbing on a bolt that causes a hole in it- where it passes behind the alternator. no one has confirmed this happens on the mk8

Thanks for your reply Mark, much appreciated.
I'll look into how i can retrieve this data with Forscan and hopefully get it up on here tomorrow. I will also have a look at the boost pipes.

keep get mixed up with these things, it will not be wastegate it will be turbo vane actuator percent, which would fail on actuator motor -- stripped gears, bad motor etc
