EGR A Control stuck closed

Postby tedtransit » Mon Oct 20, 2025 2:04 pm

Hello
my 2013 Transit T350 has developed the "EGR A control stuck closed ? I did have a maf sensor problem which I replaced (but due to work presure i did do around 600+ miles with the problem unresolved ) so not sure if related , the engine management light comes on and (sometimes) the stability warning light (which wont turn off ??)
hopefully someone can shed some light and what to do ?
thanks in advance

I think the stability light comes on because it depends on everything being right with engine performance, EGR wrong .. so not right conditions for stability control because it eventually goes into limp mode because of the EGR fault

You need to dismantle and clean EGR... a garage may not do this 'cause of time versus price ... they will replace it.

Yes you can do .. but my advice: either Pierburg or a Ford one .
