Fitting 2nd hand PCM to 2010 Mk7 Transit.

Hello everyone.

I have a 2010 mk7 Minibus with a dead 3 connector PCM by the look (and smell!) of it.

Code on the PCM is 9HBA AC11-12A650.

Is it possible to buy a used PCM and use FORScan with my VCM2 to code it to the Minibus or is this a specialist only job?.

Does the ECU need "virginising" to write the VIN to it etc?.

Is better option to buy a kit with PCM / BCM / KEYS and Ignition.

Other alternative is having it repaired, could anyone recommend a decent ECU repair centre?.
