TRANSIT CUSTOM 2.2 BATTERY TYPE IN FORESCAN

Going to to change the battery type in forscan for a 2.2 custom , it did have an efb battery so charges at up to 15.1v , but i,ve got a new standard lead acid battery that only wants to see 14.8v max

None of the options show if its efb , sealed lead acid etc. anyone shed some light on these codes

I can only tell you what google says -- ive not given it the bold bits , google has .. so make of this; what you like.

Upgrading and Replacement
If your vehicle came with an EFB from the factory, experts recommend replacing it with another EFB or upgrading to an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery. You should never downgrade to a conventional wet-flooded battery, as this can severely shorten the battery's lifespan and cause issues with your vehicle's smart charging and start-stop systems

maybe if the system still thinks its EFB .. its going to cook your ordinary battery
