One headlamp too bright

Postby firewalker » Mon Sep 14, 2026 9:56 pm

My drivers side headlamp is so bright it looks to be stuck on full beam, the bulb is fairly recent so wondering if I've missed something putting that in.
Any suggestions?

I'm trying to remember which bulb is in a Mk6 headlamp :? If it's an H4, then it's possible that both elements are working at the same time due to a shorted wire or pin in the connector
I seem to remember having to replace the bulb connectors in mine, because they both melted :(
