which part gave you the biggest problem ?
and what do you think went wrong and caused it to leak ?

1, fitting the window
2. fitting the window

Seriously, I actually messed up big time as I had stripped a minibus, 2 large glass windows, 2 large sliding windows and 2 small windows. I gave a mate everything I didnt need ie I only wanted one sliding and one small window. Thinking all the big seals were the same I sorted him out with the rest and kept what I wanted.

The sliding windows use a larger rubber, which I didnt know at the time and only discovered after spending 3 hours trying to fit the sliding window using the large glass seal. Hole was made too big too

oh thats not good, if the sealant route doesn't work for you then i see only one option, and that is to fit the window that needs the larger hole (ie, the one that is meant to fit in the rubber you measured the thickness on)

oh, and sorry yeah "sacred" i have got to remember to use the dam spell checker
