help me it wont stop

I really hope someone can help with this

when i turn the ignigtion off the engine keeps running and i have to stall it to make it stop

also sometimes it wont start

i'm very confused
let's face it, if I didn't exist you'd pay someone to invent me

Is it diesel or petrol?

diesel, just been put in it used to be a petrol

Sounds like a dodgy solenoid or connection from to it.

solenoid looks brand new and the conections look ok. going to get a new one and try that

if not check you live feed to the soloniod may not have been wired in proply! :?

i think its more likely to be the solenoid (or pump) than the wireing! next time it wont stop- pop the bonnet and pull the wire off the solenoid - if it stops its the wireing if it still carries on its the solenoid or pump :D
