Where is all this oil coming from !

steve the O ring inbetween ,i gave mine abit of pamala anderson and so far its stopped, also had a leak from the vac pump on the alternator done that as well! just the others to do now! oh and water pump and cambelt!

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I've got several oil leaks on mine but they're proving hard to trace. One in particular seem to come from between the 'big plate' on the front of the engine and the block. It runs down the side of the block under the alternator. I noticed it when I first got the van and checked the condition of the cam belt. It seems like it could be from any one of the seals that go through the front plate.
Despite all this the transit leaks less oil than any other vehicle I've owned so I'm not really that worried!

mate for some reason the td,s seem to have loads of leaks! mine looks like its comeing from the sump gasket and the rear oil seal! not shure yet!

No lift pump on mine so It cant be leaking from there !

The rocker cover bolts were all slack - every one of them.
Changed the rocker cover - the oil pressure switch (big leak) and the sump gasket.
No leaks so far !
