Mark 3 diesel warning light

Postby SteveTaylor » Tue Mar 07, 2006 1:24 pm

Hi all,

I have a 1990 diesel ford transit custom - (an 8 seater minibus).

After repairing some wiring under the steering wheel I noticed a warning light has come on and will not go off.

It is an amber wanring light which is on the far right of a set of wanring lights below the normal red ones (e.g. low battery etc, the ones that light up when you first start the engine).

It looks like the road sign for a slippery road http://www.highwaycode.gov.uk/sign102.htm

Can anyone tell me what it means?
Also is there an easy way to tell what Mark my van is? (I do not have the owners manual)

Any help would be much appreciated!
