Has any body out there fitted power steering to a swb 1998 transit that hasnt already got it?ive heard its quite straight forward enough.can get rack pump etc for about £100.any help and advice would much appreciated?

Well i always thought it would go strait on but a mate of mine broke a 96lwb with power steering and he said it was a different crossmember!!

Didn't see it with my own eyes but!! Weather or not its just the lwb thats different to the swb i don't know!!!

But im interested in fitting it to mine so........ good question!!! :D

yes all crossmembers are the same,fitting power steering is very easy on any Trany with coil springs on the front.
