tow bar electrics

Hi all, can anyone tell me if there is a fuse space on the the board assigned to the electrics for a tow bar.
I have a trailer that i want to hook up to the Trany but don't want to run it without juice going to the lightboard. This is the first step in my diagnosis of the electrics, if anyone has any other ideas your input would be appriciated. I do know that the light board works as i had it hooked up to my car a couple of months ago before i got rid of it, the guy i bought the van from never used the tow bar so couldnt tell me when the electrics last worked.

Take you rear lights out and have a look to see where the wires for the towbar socket go.

Wired mine direct to the wiring for the lights, if a fuse blows its a simple case of replace

The electrics go up behind the rear bumper and then disappear under the Glued down ply wood floor(godamn carpet fitters) The guy who owned it before me glued the floor down and lino to the ply thus giving me a job if i need to remove them at any time in the future.

Have you taken the rear light clusters out?
