wineing noise

i have a 120 swb 99 tranny and it wines a bit ,when i dip the clutch it stops is this a common thing ? also my indicators fail sometime then they come on again any ideas?thanks richie

Sounds like the clutch plate is on it's way out. I don't know if this is one of the models that have to have a flywheel change too when the clutch goes.

its just a 2.5 di 65000 miles

well if it was a turbo then i would say ur induction hose had a slight leak as they do the same noise as a release bearing dont know of any other things it can be

it will be the clutch release bairing,has the clutch been replaced recenly????? i had this on a van a few years ago but it bedded itself in and then shut up!

Does it do it when standing still? If so then I agree with everyone else, if its only when you are on the move then it will be the diff bearings.
