Worst feature in my Mark 1 is the brakes - How can I improve

Yes Transit vented discs and 4 pot calipers will bolt to the 6 stud/bolt hub without any mods
as where the falcon disc will not as it has its own hub and is 5x114.3 pcd
so you do not have the option of using the falcon discs (I forgot you had 6 stud) but you can use the transit vented discs and 4 pot caliper like the ones in pic #2 these were originally fitted to 6 stud/bolt hubs (see pic below)

The vented and solid discs share the same offset and mounting bolt pcd
